The current state of Spider-Man comics is taking up a lot of my headspace this week due to the release of ASM #24. Marvel’s promised a “big shock” in the upcoming issues 25 and #26, but #24 has plenty for longtime fans of the Peter/MJ romance to be unhappy about.
This week’s Op-Ed takes a look at the up-to-the-minute state of
Amazing Spider-Man, how the title reached this point of divisiveness among readers, and hopefully presents a nugget or two of lessons informing comic creators about what not to do.
