Good morning, my friend,
By the time you read this, The Marvels will have been released for one full weekend. By all estimates, unless a miracle happens, the film is going to be a financial flop for Marvel Studios and Disney.
Today’s Op-Ed doesn’t get into the reasons why the film isn’t a financial hit, but it does serve as a stark reminder that you should know your audience and set realistic expectations for financial return when making and selling a comic to that audience.
