[DotD] Batman (The Dark Knight) Mini Figure by Iron Studios
"I'm not wearing hockey pads" - Batman
Hello and Happy Friday, my friend,
Today we celebrate a little Batman goodness with a collectible based on one of his best onscreen appearances, The Dark Knight (2008). The film is notable for several reasons, including an Oscar-winning (posthumously awarded) performance by Heath Ledger as the Joker. Today's deal is another notable achievement - a Batman suit with a cowl that moves at the neck.
“What?” you inquire. That’s right. The Batman suit is notorious for having a molded cowl that doesn’t turn at the neck, but in The Dark Knight, the costume designers decided to do something about that problem. The result is a Batman costume that retains the classic shape but incorporates a segmented architecture to allow the actor to turn his head.
Today’s deal pays homage to The Dark Knight’s innovative design with a costume-accurate Mini Figure from Iron Studios. Per Sideshow, the mini is 6.2" (15.7 cm) tall and weighs ~0.50 lbs (0.2 kg).
This mini is a must-have collectible for Batman fans, The Dark Knight fans, and DC fans.

Who does Batman marry?
In the Batman films (so far), Batman has never been married. In comics, Batman has officially (sort of) married only two people throughout his history. First, but in no particular order, Batman was married to Selena Kyle (Catwoman). Their complicated relationship on opposing sides of the law creates sparks for a perpetually hot and cold romance. Second, Batman was married for a brief period to Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Batman’s powerful enemy, R’as al Ghul. Batman’s relationship with Talia was much shorter and less complicated than his on-again, off-again relationship with Catwoman. However, his marriage to Talia resulted in a child - Damian Wayne aka the current Robin.
