Good morning, my friend,
We got some BIG news out of Star Wars Celebration this weekend about upcoming films and streaming shows. I’m a lifelong Star Wars fan, so it’s interesting to see so many characters (old and new) come to life in live-action.
One announcement, however, is drawing an unsurprisingly mixed reaction.
Somehow, Rey has returned.
Before you get your Jedi robes in a knot, this week’s Op-Ed takes a look at Rey and how the character can be salvaged using the example of a recognizable DC character with an unrecognizable origin. Give it a read.
[Op-Ed] Can Rey "Skywalker" be saved?
