Happy Mondy, You Fine Intrepid Reader,
It’s been a busy week capped off with a fun little experiment introducing the Comical Opinions experience into Reddit. It’s an interesting place, and that’s putting it mildly. We’ve got some hastily collected karma built up, and we’ll be posting our reviews and previews in (hopefully) all the right subs this week.
Fun trivia: I was part of the Engineering team that re-built Reddit when Conde Nast bought it from Chris Slowe way back when. It’s a lot different than it was back then. Remind me to tell you about those humble beginnings of the site some time.
That said, we’ve got quite an eclectic variety of comics for you to sample from this past week, so get ready to dig in and enjoy. But before we do, let’s tackle that all-important housekeeping.
ComicalOpinions.com is possible because of comics lovers just like you. To help keep the site running and to ensure we keep bringing the very best reviews and previews for a long time, we rely on ads and affiliate purchases.
First up, we run on BlueHost and we absolutely love it. Bluehost is the best WordPress hosting site out there (and we’ve tried more than a few). If you want to start your own website at a really affordable cost or your current hosting provider charges you too much for too little, please give BlueHost a try using the link below.
Next, we love ComiXology. All of the current week’s comics are out on NCBD and can be shipped to you directly or downloaded digitally, immediately. If you’ve thought about getting access to tens of thousands of comics, past and present, please click the link below for a free trial. If you like it, your purchase helps support us, too. It’s a win-win.
Thanks for your support! Now, on with the show…
