Captain America first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1941 with an approximate birth year of 1922, which would make him 100 years old as of this writing. Four years after his debut, Captain America was trapped in ice and remained in a state of suspended animation until he was found several years later. In the MCU, Cap was thawed out in 2011, creating an age gap of 66 years. In the comics, Cap was thawed out in 1964, creating an age gap of almost 20 years. Therefore, Captain America is 100 in calendar years but 80-years-old in comics time and 34-years-old in MCU time.
