Hello, my friend,
The 2022 DC Round Robin voting competition is over, and the winner is…
Superboy: The Man of Tomorrow
No surprises here. Conner Kent has a strong fan base going back decades, and he hasn’t gotten enough page time recently to keep those fans happy, so it makes sense those fans would vote for a popular character.
Today’s deal, however, focuses on another Superboy with a decidedly different past. Superboy-Prime is a tragic figure in DC history. Starting as a hero from his own parallel Earth, his home was wiped out during the Crisis on Infinite Earths event, leading him to eventually warp and twist into a powerful villain.
Now, you can own the villain that looks like a hero with this reality-breaking action figure.
Per Entertainment Earth, “this DC Multiverse Superboy-Prime Infinite Crisis 7-Inch Scale Action Figure Figure features ultra articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range of posing and play. Superboy-Prime comes with a flight stand base. Also included is a collectible art card with figure photography on the front, and a character biography on the back.”

Is Superboy Superman’s son?
That depends on which version of Superboy you’re talking about. The original Superboy, who appeared in DC Comics in 1944, was a younger version of Clark Kent/Superman. His first series detailed his superpowered adventures in Smallville before the world came to know him as the Man of Steel. Kon-El/Conner Kent is a genetically engineered Superboy, created with a mix of DNA from both Superman and Lex Luthor. He made his first appearance during the Reign of the Superman event after Superman’s death at the hands of Doomsday. The current Superboy, Jonathan Kent, is the biological son of Superman and Lois Lane.
