Good morning, my friend,
Memorial Day is here, so I’d be remiss if didn’t urge us to remember the true heroes who sacrificed everything to defend our freedom. Superheroes are good. We like superheroes, but the real-life armed forces are the true heroes who've shown us what it means to be brave.
Today is all about reflection and gratitude. Brave soldiers risk it all, and some made the ultimate sacrifice, protecting us. They're the reason we can lose ourselves in the pages of our favorite comics. Their courage and selflessness are the stuff of legends who often serve as the source of inspiration for the comic heroes we love.
This Memorial Day, take a moment to remember these fallen heroes and their families. Remember how they fought for justice, equality, and freedom, and remember that we owe them our utmost respect.
As comic book fans, we're all about embracing stories of heroism and overcoming impossible odds. And here's the thing – we can apply those lessons to our own lives. Let's honor these heroes by living out the values they fought for - standing up for what's right, lending a helping hand, and making our communities a better place.
To all the brave men and women who gave their all, I say, “Thank you!”
Happy Memorial Day to everyone.
Since this is a short week due to the holiday, I’m giving everyone a much-needed break to rest and recharge. Don’t worry. There’ll be plenty of cool reviews for you to enjoy, but the list is just a tiny bit smaller.
Thanks for your patience. Take some time for yourself to rest and reflect, and go read comics.
Now, on with the show.
