Good morning, my friend,
I’m a data fiend. I’m constantly looking at the performance of our reviews, what resonates with our growing audience, and what titles from our family of publishers get the better reviews.
For whatever reason, not that I’m complaining, the horror titles a gaining in quality and popularity for us and our readers. There are exceptions, of course, but those exceptions are mostly centered around the hardcore fanbase of publishers and specific characters.
For example, Bettie Page fans and Red Sonja fans are always eager for more of each. And don’t get me started on KISS fans.
Across the board, I see more publishers dipping their toes into every sub-genre of horror - from hardcore zombie gore to ethereal ghosts. Again, it’s not a complaint but it is an interesting revelation, and our readers are eating it up.
So, I’d love to hear from you about your wants/needs specifically around Horror. Are there certain types of horror that are your favorite? Are there horror publishers and creators that are putting out great horror material you think we should review?
Let us know what you think by adding a comment to the online version of this newsletter, or you can send an email to gabe@comicalopinions.com. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
Without further delay, let’s have a scary good time with this week’s reviews.

Unfortunately, supply chain issues are still throwing the publishers out of whack. We’ve smoothed out delivery quite a bit over the last week or so, but there are still some hiccups popping up. If there are any changes to the review cycle, we’ll adjust and get to your favorite titles as soon as we can.
