Good morning, my friend,
It’s no secret I’m a lover of pulp comics that capture the essence of action and adventure from the early days of cinema. Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, King of the Rocket Men, Doc Savage, anything adapted from Edgar Rice Burroughs and Robert E. Howard.
You name it, I’m a fan.
So, every time we can add one of those classic heroes (or at least a new hero that pays respect to that era) to our review roster, I get that warm, fuzzy feeling that reminds me why I love comics so much.
Starting this week, we’ve worked out an agreement to start reviewing comics featuring the one, the only…
Zorro!
Hey, I get it. Zorro may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I hope you can appreciate that this is a HUGE accomplishment for the site, and I can’t thank the fine folks at American Mythology for agreeing to work with us on this.
Also, it’s not just about what we like. First and foremost, ComicalOpinions.com exists to find and review comics you want to see in genres or from publishers that don’t get the mainstream attention they deserve. That said, let us know what comics, heroes, and genres of comics you want, and we’ll do our best to find them and give them more attention.
Now then, excuse me while I start researching the license holder of a certain masked man and his faithful steed, Silver…
