Good morning, my friend,
We have two big updates that I think you’ll really enjoy before we get into our previews and reviews.
The first update falls into the “More Quality” category. We’re shifting our manga reviews away from chapter-by-chapter to full volumes. In the short term, that means less frequent manga reviews, but in the long term, manga reviews will be more complete and meaningful. When customers are looking for manga, they’re looking for full volumes, and we want to adjust how we do things to make more sense for the readers.
The second update is potentially HUGE for our site and for people who submit their creator-owned comics. We’ve been accepted as a Critic Review site on ComicbookRoundup.com, the Rotten Tomatoes of comic book reviews. That means more exposure for our site and more exposure for the comics we review, including creator-owned comics.
I can’t overstate how big a deal this is for us, and I’m thrilled we’ve taken one more step towards becoming a premier comic review site. None of this would be possible without readers like you. Thank YOU!
That said, if you want more people to know what we do, please encourage your friends to join us by sharing this newsletter below. Simply click on the ‘Share’ button at the bottom. It’s 100% free.
And now, a word from our sponsors (they’re not actually sponsors, but you get the idea…).
First up, we run on BlueHost and we absolutely love it. Bluehost is the best WordPress hosting site out there (and we’ve tried more than a few). If you want to start your own website at a really affordable cost or your current hosting provider charges you too much for too little, please give BlueHost a try using the link below.
Next, we love ComiXology. All of the current week’s comics are out on NCBD and can be shipped to you directly or downloaded digitally, immediately. If you’ve thought about getting access to tens of thousands of comics, past and present, please click the link below for a free trial. If you like it, your purchase helps support us, too. It’s a win-win.
Thanks for your support! Now, let’s bring you some fun on a Monday morning…
One more thing, we’re going to try a simplified list format for the newsletter to save space in your email by, hopefully, making it simpler to read and scroll. Send us your feedback at reviews@comicalopinions.com if this works better or if you like the previous version with images and summary text.
We want to hear from you!

We’re looking forward to doing more with Source Point in the future, and we hope you’ll give them a shot.
Thanks for sticking with ComicalOpinions.com as we continue to grow. Please share this newsletter with your friends, and let us know your ideas on how we can make comics reviews more valuable for you.
Have a great day!
