The Fix: One World Under Doom #1 (The Fixed Edition)
Since obtaining the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme at the end of the Blood Hunt event, Doom remains sequestered in a protective magic dome inside Latveria. The Avengers remain hyper-vigilant of Latveria but see no outward signs of movement or aggression.
One day, a powerful blast of energy strikes Paris, unleashing an army of interdimensional demons. Who sent them? The Avengers track the beam back to its source - a rift into our universe created by the Dreaded Dormammu. Without Doctor Strange as the Sorcerer Supreme to protect Earth, Dormammu decides to strike... or has he?
The Avengers battle the never-ending stream of demons, but their efforts are stymied without the expertise and power Doctor Strange would have brought to the fight. When the balance of the battle shifts in favor of the demons, a mystical bolt strikes the demons down en masse and seals the rift, saving the Avengers and the Earth. Doctor Doom has emerged from hiding as the new Sorcerer Supreme - Defender of the Earth and Hero. Nothing, however, is as it seems.
