Comic Reviews - Week Ending 10/10/2021
Happy Monday, my friend,
This past week and this coming week mark the end (for now) of a few series we’ve been watching closely. For example, Possessive from Zenescope, Ninjak from Valiant, and Bettie Page: The Curse of the Banshee from Dynamite. We’re sad to see them go or go on an extended hiatus, but we’re happy with the stories and adventures they shared.
That’s the end for some, but a beginning for a new publisher to our rotation: Second Sight Publishing. We’ve had a number of our followers recommend Second Sight to us, and we’ve finally made arrangements to start reviewing their titles. Scroll down to the ‘Coming Up this Week’ section to see the Second Sight titles we have on tap.
I’m personally excited to have Second Sight onboard. They’re a perfect fit for our mission statement - to review and spotlight Indie creators and Small Publishers that don’t get enough attention anywhere else. The more attention they get, the more comics they sell. The more comics they sell, the more they can grow. The more they grow, the more comics lovers (just like you and me) will have to choose from.
2021 is our year to commit to growth, and so far, we’re making good on that commitment. So, hold on to your hats. We’re going to finish the year strong.
