July 2023 is almost a memory, so the Big 2 publishers are racing to get as many SDCC announcements and big event books out as quickly as possible. This past week, Marvel released their third annual Hellfire Gala issue, and let’s just say it’s a doozy.

Today’s Op-Ed ponders the implications of the Hellfire Gala 2023, and why, if Marvel follows through on the outcome, this could be the most important issue of the year for the X-Office.
