ICv2 released the monthly Top 50 / Top 200 sales ranking for September 2023 this week, and the usual noise popped up almost immediately about which titles sold well and which didn’t. Admittedly, I’m part of that crowd, but I try to take a more thoughtful approach.
This week’s Op-Ed explains why the Comichron sales figures aren’t all they’re cracked up to be and the filter you should use when drawing conclusions.
