Comic Reviews for the week ending 8/11/2024

Good morning, my friend,

I might be asking for more trouble than I can handle with this idea, but fortune favors the bold (or the foolish).

Comical Opinions is growing in popularity, so we’re getting more calls to collaborate beyond your standard comic review submissions.

Of course, I believe my opinions are the best and most correct 😉, but variety is the spice of life, and I don’t know everything. Therefore, we’re opening the site to reader-submitted articles.

“Why not use the platform built to spotlight honest opinions to give the best readers in the world a spotlight for their opinions?” I thought. So, here we go.

If you have an article you’d like to get published on any topic related to the comics industry, including adaptations into other mediums like animation and film, we’ll review it, provide editorial guidance, and publish the article in your name.

Why would you want to do this?

• You get a portfolio piece to show that you’re a legitimately published writer

• We’ll include links to your socials and websites for a healthy signal boost to your online presence

• The nagging itch you have to get your voice heard gets some welcome relief

• If your opinion resonates, the door is open for more writing in the future.

This could be the greatest idea since sliced bread or an unholy disaster.

It’s all up to you.

This is a trial run, but if it works out, we’ll consider keeping it as a permanent feature.
