Good morning, my friend,
Yes, it looks like we caught up farther from the July retooling of the site and then some. One of our Publishers had a delay in their publishing cycle, so not as many issues came out this week as we planned. Therefore, we got all the July books done and we had more space to hop on indie books submitted by our fine followers.
Never fear! There are always more comics, and we’re committed to giving you the widest range of content possible.
Oh, by the way. There’s an awful lot of buzz about big(ger)-named creators jumping ship from the Big 2 to work with Substack. This newsletter is on Substack (but you probably already knew that), so we’re both familiar with its capabilities and keeping a close eye on what those creators do. Specifically, we’re very curious to see how they intend to leverage Substack for publishing comics.
We may even do an article or video about it once the unknowns become less unknown.
Anyway, the future is always uncertain, but we’re glad you’ve come along for the journey. Now, let’s get to the meat that goes with this gravy.
