Comic Reviews - Week Ending 01/16/2022
Good morning, my friend,
2021 was the year for taking things away, but sometimes… just sometimes… it’s also the year for giving. 2022 is the year where that giving comes home in the form of a lot of comics all at once.
One of our favorite publishers (Source Point Press) managed to get a deluge of backed-up titles out the door, and so we’ve got a mountain of long-delayed titles to sort through and review. Too many comics are a good kind of problem. And while it’s a lot more work for us to get through those back titles and keep up with current releases, you reap the benefits. Congratulations!
In all seriousness, we’re happy to see Source Point get back on track, and we’re do mean it when we say too many comics is a good kind of problem. That said, the publishing cycle for new reviews in the next few weeks is going to be a mix of the latest and greatest and a few titles that are a teeny tiny bit out of date.
Not to worry. We will catch up, and every title will get its fair share of attention. We thank you for your patience if the cycle seems a bit wonky, but you have my word that our commitment to bringing you the most honest, fair, thoughtful, and wide array of comics reviews has never been stronger.
I promised in our New Years' newsletter that 2022 was going to be a roller coaster. Do I deliver or don’t I?!?
