Good morning, my friend,
We’ll keep it short and sweet today since we’re still catching up from some well-deserved time off. So, let’s kick things off with an Op-Ed that’s sure to get a few folks talking.
This week, Eric D. July launched the second volume of the Rippaverse (ISOM #2) to great success by any business metric you could imagine. I would be dishonest if I didn’t devote time to this important development and offer thoughts as to how sales of this magnitude are made possible.
[Op-Ed] Why is the Rippaverse winning?
What do you think? Is the Rippaverse setting the example for the future of indie comics? Leave a comment down below to say your peace.
Next up, a quick update on our plans to publish a podcast/live stream. We have your feedback and are experimenting with the right format to keep you updated on a weekly basis.

Last but not least, we are ever so slowly starting to incorporate a few titles for review from Image Comics. Big things are happening at Image, especially with the recent announcement that Skybound has picked up the comic license for Transformers and G.I. Joe, so we’d be foolish to turn a blind eye.
Keep an eye out for more Image Comics reviews coming soon.
